1991 Jaguar Lister Le Mans - LHD £ 79,950

The Lister Le Mans is a heavily modified version of the Jaguar XJ-S. Sold as a new car, it has an enlarged bodyshell and unique, aerodynamic bodywork. It is powered by Lister’s own development of the Jaguar V12 engine, taken out 7 litres and producing a claimed 512 bhp and 500 lb/ft of torque, with a top speed of 200 mph. The engines were handbuilt and dyno tested.

There is not a definitive production figure, but it is thought that a little over 30 Le Mans models had been built by the time production ceased in 1993.

This car was supplied new to its first owner in Jersey in March 1991 and has had just two subsequent keepers, the last from 2006. In its 30-year lifespan it has covered only a little over 10,000 dry-weather miles and has been kept in excellent original condition, maintained and always garaged.
